Roses have long symbolized beauty and love. It comes in many colors: red, yellow, white, purple, blue... Different colors have their own meanings.
On Valentine's Day, it's a great choice to send roses to someone you love, as many people do. But in fact, not necessarily in the holiday to send flowers, weekdays can also send out a very pleasant surprise to each other!
This is a simple hand-made tutorial, made of sponge paper. According to the instructions below, even if you're a novice, you can make a beautiful red rose. Watch it together and enjoy the process of completing it!
You will need to prepare:
Sponge paper (1mm thick, made of petals super real)
double-sided glue
scissors
straight ruler
arts knife
1.First take out the red sponge paper and cut it into strips of the same width.
2.Cut into small squares of the same size. Then put a few small squares together and cut out the shape of the petals.
If you're worried that the cut isn't perfect, you can also draw it first and then cut it out.
You don't need to be too precise, the petals are different.
3.Stretch the petals to the sides with your finger. Squeeze the front edge of the petal to make a fold and roll inward from the back.
Control strength, paper thin easy to shred.
4.Take another small square and roll it up as a flower heart. Cover the middle part with double-sided adhesive and tear off the protective layer.
5.Place the first petal on the double-sided gum of the flower center and wrap it around the flower center. And then I'm going to put some double-sided tape on the outside.
6.Paste the second petal, and so on, paste 3 to 4 pieces.
7.After wrapping the flowers in the same way, apply double-sided glue to the bottom of the remaining petals.
8.Stick them on top of each other.
Pay attention to the angle of the petals, there should be one petal on top of the other.
9.Cut off the extra center of the flower at the bottom. Or you could start with wire and make a flower stem.
10.A beautiful rose is done!
You can make it into a variety of decorations, or you can match the stems to make a flower arranging or a bouquet!
