If your desktop is often cluttered and piled up with a lot of odds and ends, it's time to get yourself a storage!
You don't have to pay for it. Use the extra ingredients from your home, such as coffee stir bars and popsicles. We can try making one ourselves.
A simple DIY octagonal storage tray tutorial, just cut the coffee stir bars, and then pasted, can be made out. Not only beautiful but also transparent, I believe you will like it!
You will need to prepare:
coffee stir bar/popsicle stick
hot glue gun
1.First paste a circle with the stirrer, make an octagonal shape.
If you're worried about asymmetry, draw a drawing on a piece of paper and paste the stirrer along the diagram.
It's better to do a little bigger, you can put more things, otherwise small not practical.
2.Take a side view. It’s very simple to stack and glue the stir bars. Use a toothpick to apply glue, and you'll get a nice plate that doesn't have any extra glue.
3.Make about 10 layers with full mixing rods. Flip it over, then go on and cut the sticks more and more short, then paste them and move them a little bit to the middle.
4.When the distance between two parallel stirrers at the bottom is less than the length of the stirrer, it's time to close the bottom .
5.Cover the bottom with stirrers as shown.
6.Wait a little while, let the glue dry completely, can begin to use. Such as keys, small toys, change, etc. thrown in.
7. The side of the tray is not sealed, so it is transparent and looks very beautiful!
