Do your kids like Peppa Pig? If they're a Peppa fan, let's give them a try of this fun crafting!
Simple quilling paper piglet tutorial, let the children make Peppa's mom. We also added a base plate to it and made a beautiful brooch. If the kids prefer Peppa's dad, or Peppa, or George, do the same thing!
There is a need to prepare:
Pink, orange and black quilling paper strips (both 0.3cm x 39cm in size)
cardstock
brooch base
0.2cm black semicircular beads
quilling pen
quilling ruler
scissors
glue
bead pin
1.Paste the five pink strips at the beginning and the end, then roll them into a tight roll, put them into the 24# hole and loosen them.
2.Take it out and glue it on the end. and then squeeze it into Peppa's mom's face.
3.Turn over and apply a layer of white glue to the back.
4.Take 5 orange strips, paste them end to end and roll them into a tight roll, then put them into the 26# hole to loosen.
5.Take it out and shape your body. Also apply the white glue on the back, then use the bead pin to set the shape.
6.Then make 2 tight rolls of pink strips and squeeze into a water drop shape for the ears. Make two tight rolls of black strips, also pinch into a water drop shape, as shoes.
7.Take out the pink strips and cut out the arms and legs. One end of the arm has to be cut out as fingers.
8.Cut 4 circles from the white cardstock and attach to the head. Affix two black semicircular beads to the eyes and draw the nostrils with a red marker.
9.Glue your ears to the top of your head and use a black marker to draw your eyelash.
10. Glue shoes to your legs, and then put arms and legs on the back of your body.
11. Take out five orange strips, paste them end-to-end, and roll them into a tight roll. Paste it on the brooch base.
12. Finally paste Peppa's mother's head and body on it. When the glue dries, the lovely cartoon brooch is ready!
